Digital Recording and Mastering Services

Shooga Bear Records has recently upgraded to a 16-track studio. This multitrack system is still portable, so we are proud to say that we are still able to offer the same "we come to you" style of business. We will come to your band's turf to record! This will help you stay focused in an environment you are already comfortable with, and help you produce the best music you can possibly make.

Our mastering services will help you finish off your project without having to outsource beyond our label. Our partnership eliminates the time involved in most mastering situations, and gets your product ready for pressing sooner!

Media Transfer

If you want your favourite tape from the 80's preserved forever, this is the place to bring it. We are even better at transferring your old records to a compact disc! Using digital technology we'll filter out hiss, pops, and other anomalies that so often creep into vinyl recordings, preserving your vinyl records on disc for you.

Current rates are as follows (postage included):

Tapes converted to CD - $7/tape, discount for multiples.
Vinyl converted to CD - $10/record*

*please note that this is slightly higher in cost mainly due to postage involved.
